THE EMOTIONAL CLEARING PROCESS / Re: Witnessing
« on: March 03, 2014 »
Since you have The Emotional Clearing Training Guide start right from the first track and really sink with with and then progress to the next one, don't hurry to "jump" faster to further tracks, since the first ones build some foundation for the next ones.

Also, read again the Emotional Clearing Book. This is not a once-in-a-lifetime work, but one lifetime's work. So it might be useful to read the book many times. If you haven't, I'd really recommend that.
I have read it twice but I need to read it again! hehe. They are not mere concepts but a paradigm shift.

Have a nice day.

Remember what John said in a previous post:
"Suppressed feelings influence thoughts of the conscious mind more than the conscious mind can influence the suppressed feelings. If nagging thoughts of painful events keep coming up, it's just a sign that the suppressed feelings associated with the events have not yet been substantially released through processing."

When I have been faced with that issue, what I have done is to focus on the feeling regarding the mental movies that play themselves. I find myself going into the stories and then going back to the feeling. When I am consistent in going back to feeling in the body, the mental stories drop until no stories are played back or if they are played back it doesn't matter anyway.

Sometimes I find that when I am working on a feeling some images appear when I am releasing, they are just memories coming up, I just allow the images to arise naturally and dissapear organically with the process.

I guess that maybe you are approaching the work with the intention of solving or getting rid of some "problem or issue", from that perspective  one tends to fight or control what happens, hence, the thoughts of "doing it wrong". When you feel the feelings just because they are here and not because you want to attain some preferred state, then the questions and doubts dissolve and you trust the process and the very process guides you. That is what I have experienced.

THE EMOTIONAL CLEARING PROCESS / Re: Witnessing

Peace,

In my experience, by focusing your attention in your "third eye" you gently enter into the witness consciousness. As John instructs in the Emotional Clearing Book and in the Emotional Clearing Six Week Program.

Something I have noticed in my experience is that striving to access "The Witness" doesn't help, since The Witness arises from a non-doing perspective. I have also noticed that by using the first track (Deep Relaxation) the witness arises through the breathing pattern that John teaches.

Have a nice day :)

I also want to say thank you John! And thanks to the person who posed this question.

Hi everyone in the forum:

I'd like to know your point of view about the relationship between working with "Psychology of Selves" and "Emotional Clearing/Processing"
Are these mutually exclusive? Are really the same thing? When we work with Emotional Clearing are we working anyway with our "selves"?

And what about working directly on beliefs? When you change/shift/eliminate a belief, is the energy of the unresolved emotion still trapped in the unconscious? a displacement of that energy occurs?

Yes I know, maybe wanting to know all of this is futile anyway and it's a manifestation of doubts and of wanting the process to happen faster than it should. But I genuinelly would like to know your toughts about this, because I might unnecessarily following a circular "path" instead of doing the work that is required to do in this lifetime.

Best regards :)
