6 week guided training

Hi john,

I just began your 6 week guided training. The first disk (Deep Relaxation) did cause me to feel very relaxed but was still holding on to the fact that something needed to be different (anxiety feelings). Also about what seemed half way through I think I fell asleep, I am not sure because time seemed to pass very quickly and i am not sure if I lost consciousness or not. Would I still get the benefit if I sat up listening to the first disk to avoid falling asleep?

Sure - you can try both reclining or sitting up in meditation pose.

Thanks for your reply John. I am having trouble stopping the insessant thinking or monkey mind while listening to the first disk and finding it difficult to relax. Do I need to achieve an alpha state with the first disk before I can move onto the Five Conditions disk?

Yes is there still a,benefit if you fall asleep? I've been a bit under the weather but I find your Relaxing CD & the Five conditions to really help clear emotional imprints.
